Try giving a chew toy to your dog. im not so sure if it will help.

I have been told that putting a snug sleeveless t-shirt on the dog will make them less fearful of storms. Also do not "baby" the dog during a storm. Act as if the storm is perfectly natural, which it is.

Just let her come out at her own pace, give her a reason to come out such as treats or her favorite toy and throw it for her a few times. And during the next storm just let her be where she runs, dont baby her or anything, she will learn to over come it, there are also some medications that your vet can give her to calm her during the storms but those are for the more serious cases, i think it just scared her, and she’ll eventually put it behind her.
