I have a 1 yr old St Bernard. He loves to lay down on cold hard surfaces like tile and cement. He rests his weight on his elbows, and this causes him to develop these weird golf ball size lumps attached to his elbow. I freaked out when I first noticed them. The vet didn’t seem too concerned. He said he could drain it, but it would probably come back again. I try to get him to lay on a blanket or dog bed, but since it is Summer, he prefers tile. It is embarassing to take him to the dog park now because I’m sick of people asking what’s wrong with him. Does anybody else have a dog with this problem? What did you do?
