The bedding is 100% natural cellulose fibers. I just don’t know what, if any, adverse effects could come from the chemistry of snake urine and excrement.

    I wouldn’t do it. I compost, but I am told by other Organic people that fecal matter from carnivores is dangerous for compost. If you have a vegatarian snake, maybe it will be fine. I don’t compost my dog’s feces. If I had a horse or a cow, I would.

    Yes, there shouldn’t be any problem.

    As long as the bedding itself is safe to compost, then it will be fine. I trash my snake’s dirty bedding.

    your snake eats meat …. no.. don’t use it in compost…. NO meat or feces from a meat eater should ever end up in compost…
