so my parents are i are surprising my older brother with the dog he has dreamed about having for years…and English bull dog. well my mom and i were talking and since the little guy is gonna get so round and fat… lol… would it be better to get him an harness or collar? gotta make sure the little guy has his tags on him! my moms scared a collar will fall off of him easily? so any bull dog owners know what one is better?

    He could wear a collar all the time, just make sure it fits him properly, and then I would also put a harness on him to walk him. It would give you better control over them.

    you should have him wear a collar all the time (loosening it as he gets bigger) and have him wear a harness for walks

    My neighbors have an English Bull dog and he has a collar. I have yet to see it fall off of him. However, if you’re worried about the possibility of it falling off him that much, have him wear a collar just for tags and walk him with a harness. That way you aren’t putting any stress on the collar and making it less likely it’ll come off when you don’t want it to.
