Need ideas for a dog bed?

My husband and I bought a dog bed cover for our english mastiff. What are some things we can put in it to fill it but can easily take out to wash the cover? We thought about pillows or foam. Any other ideas?

I need a recommendation for a dog bed that cannot be torn apart easily and is easy to clean. I am currently using Top Paw Orthopedic dog beds and my dogs are scratching them apart.
