The tick was only attached for a few hours but the site of the bite kinda hurts and is a little red.

I pulled the tick off with twezzers and it turned red. I didn’t pay much attention to it until a few day back and now it fells as if the bite mark is scabing, is this normal?

I pulled a tick off my daughter’s scalp and all around the bite was black stuff, similar to black pepper or flea dirt. I scrubbed her head real good in the tub and it all looks to be gone. Does anyone know what it is?

I removed a tick a couple of days ago. Now the area I removed it from is swollen, like a mosquito bite and a little pink. It’s not in a bullseye pattern like the pictures I’ve seen of lyme disease. It’s not itchy, just a little swollen. Is this a normal reaction?

Im leaving Tues for a week in Florida to visit family and Im bringing my dog. Hes on Frontline already as we live in WI and have a huge tick problem. So with Floridas sand fleas should I get a flea collar too in addition to his frontline?? Thanks

because i have no idea what kind of tick it is, it is completly black, round smooth shell. I found 6-7 of them on him in different sizes, some considerably larger than others. When i crushed the bugs they didnt appear to have red bood in them but black stuff.
