Any bed that provides a comfortable, warm surface to sleep on and is not too small. It depends where you are keeping the bed as to how padded it should be. If it is on a carpeted area then less padding would be needed compared to a tiled or wood flooring. Goldies have a genetic predisposition to hip and elbow issues so support is important.
I have 3 dogs and they all love comfy squishy stuff to sleep on. Unfortunately they are DOGS! So they shed and are smelly so I found (after a lot of expensive dog beds) that lots of easy to wash comforters and blankets from garage sales and the salvation army are the best to use. I gave up on all of those mattress dog beds and hard to wash thick doggie blanket beds. Dogs are dogs, they don’t really care where the bed/blanket came from as long as they are comfy.
To get the right bed, consider your dog’s habits. And of course, consider how important washability and style are to you. Whatever your needs, there’s certainly a bed out there that your dog will love. Here’s more info:
