try putting towels or old soft blankets down in a quiet place that doesn’t have much traffic (like a closet) and taking her over to it to show it to her, if she takes to it that might be where she has her litter – make sure theres not too much junk on the closet floor (nothing is best so the babies don’t get hurt, and that you can leave the door open without her being too disturbed

When my cat is pregnant we use a rubber-made box with some old towels.

Many cats (including mine) seek refuge in a closet to have their kittens for it’s quiet atmosphere, away from foot traffic. I would suggest making her a home out of a large cardboard box, lining the inside with soft towels, and cutting a square large enough for the mother cat to get out and potty. Make sure to have a litter box nearby, and don’t make it an area so secluded that you cannot check on the kittens’ well being.

You know what, you can put boxes and beds and stuff out all over…however when it comes down to it the cat is gonna do it where she wants to do it. We had a lil box and blankies all set up for a cat and she found her way into the bottom of a dark closet and gave birth there…so let nature take its course…perhaps leave stuff but unless you watch her 24/7 she’ll do it where she wants…

Get a medium size cardboard box, and fill it with soft blankets, towels, something.. and then let her know she can go there.
And, she will have her kittens there.

hi! Let HER choose. I know that with my outside cat, we used a large cardboard box and lined it with blankets. Then put lots of shredded newspaper (things get messy and you will need to change her bed soon after the kittens are born). She will probably go there…but you really should keep her inside and away from other animals (if you haven’t already).

A closet is a really really good place…or under a bed. Of course, put something down. And make sure it is not high off the ground because the kittens will fall off! We used the bottom of mum’s cupboard the last few times an put down some blanket and newspaper on top of a couple of pillows. Kitty loved it :)

You could set up a full blown delivery room, lol queens will have their kittens where they want. She will find some where that feels safe to her.

A *low* box full of old towles and blankets that you don’t care about. Box should be in a small and dark spot away from all of the hustle and bustel of the home, [ bastment, spare room] because the cat will move her kittens one by one if she is unhappy with the location. Be sure when she gives birth to give her privacy, and do not touch the kittens for at least a day!! ( You wouldn’t someone grabbing your newborn!)When the kittens are a little older, wash the blanktets. Don’t move them if you are distubring the cats though. Hope I was of help!
